The trust set

our sources, openly.

Every answer is derived from and deep-linked to credible sources. Here is each one, why it was chosen, its perspective, and the rules we use it under. Attribution isn't a footnote here; it is the trust product itself.

IslamQA (islamqa.info)

islamqa.info ↗

What we use it for: Primary rulings and detailed reasoning; the largest existing Q&A mapping of real demand, in 16 languages.

How: Read → synthesize in our own words → deep-link the exact answer ID in the Sources block. Short quotations only, clearly attributed.

Rules we hold ourselves to: Never republish full text. Note its single-school lean where relevant and balance with Dorar's cross-school comparison.

Dorar (dorar.net)

dorar.net ↗

What we use it for: Hadith authentication and grading; four-school fiqh comparison; aqeedah reference: the encyclopedias scholars themselves use.

How: Every hadith grading is verified against the Hadith encyclopedia; the “Views of the schools” block is built from the fiqh encyclopedia, each position deep-linked.

Rules we hold ourselves to: Dorar is our neutrality engine. Arabic-first source, so the curation team includes strong Arabic readers.

Quran.com / Tanzil

quran.com ↗

What we use it for: Verse text in Arabic and established translations.

How: Verses embedded with surah:ayah reference and translation credit.

Rules we hold ourselves to: Quranic text is set in the mushaf-style face and never restyled, bolded, or truncated mid-verse.

Sunnah.com

sunnah.com ↗

What we use it for: Hadith text in Arabic and English with collection numbering.

How: The hadith itself is quoted with collection, number, and narrator, alongside its Dorar-verified grading.

Rules we hold ourselves to: If not in Bukhari or Muslim: cite the primary source plus grading, or exclude. Weak hadith only with an explicit label.

Permission and goodwill outreach is logged per source. We never republish full source text; quotations stay under 40 words, quoted and attributed.
